Embersworn Legacy is the kind of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Battles are turn-based, so you can play a fight, put the phone down, and come back later without losing the thread. The party system lets you mix classes freely, and we spent way too long tinkering with builds.
The writing carried us more than we expected. Side characters get real arcs, and the choices you make in dialogue nudge the story in small but noticeable ways. It won't win awards, but it kept us reading instead of skipping.
Progression is generous and never felt like a grind wall. If you like classic turn-based combat with a proper story attached, this is an easy recommendation.
